Do I have to buy all my supplies through the group?

No. You can purchase as much or as little as you want through the group.

How much time do I or my staff have to spend administering the program?

No more time than you currently spend on purchasing. Graphic Arts Alliance’s (GAA) Managing Director notifies all group vendors of your participation and is responsible for all information gathering and rebate distribution. You enjoy the additional savings.

How much will I save?

This depends on your level of participation. Members usually save at least $5,000 in the first year without switching vendors. The more you participate the more you save. Some Members are saving over $100,000 a year.

What if I decide I want to leave the group?

If you decide for any reason that you want to leave the group in the first year your money is fully refunded.

Will my Annual Dues increase after I join?

If there is a reason to increase dues, 51% of the Members have to approve it.

How are rebates distributed?

Rebates are distributed through GAA. Eighty percent of the rebate is distributed to the Members participating on the contract by sales volume. The other twenty percent is distributed to the Member or Members that make up fifty percent of the sales volume for that rebate period. This formula will only change if 51% of the Members approve it.

What happens if another Member does not pay his bills on time or goes out of business? Will I have any liability?

Each Member places their own orders and pays their own bills. Members use group contracts but do not purchase though GAA. Members are responsible only for their own bills.

How do I join?

It’s a simple 2 step process. Pay your first year’s dues and sign the GAA Operating Agreement.

Why do I have to sign the Operating Agreement?

The Operating Agreement contains the Bylaws of GAA. This insures that all Members are treated the same with a consistent set of rules which the organization follows. The Operating Agreement can only be changed if 51% of the Members approve it.

Will any of my pricing or Company information be reveled to other Members?

No. GAA is not a peer group. Each Member’s pricing, volumes or other company information remain confidential.
